DUI Crash on Interstate 5 Injures One [Gorman, CA]

Gorman, CA (September 21, 2021) – On Saturday morning, one suffered injuries while police arrested a 23-year-old woman from Lancaster in a DUI crash on Interstate 5.

Officers received the crash report at about 5 a.m. south of Quail Lake Road. 

“There were injuries to (one person) involved in the other vehicle,” said Officer Josh Greengard, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol Newhall Office.  

The authorities said the victim incurred minor injuries. Any injury to another person will result in a felony booking.  

Investigating officers believe that the woman from Lancaster caused the crash while driving under the influence. Officers booked her at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station shortly after the accident.  

The woman was held in lieu of $100,000 bail, according to law enforcement booking logs.
