Suspected DUI Accident on Interstate 10 Injures 4 People [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (July 21, 2023) On Wednesday morning, 4 people were hurt in a possible DUI accident on Interstate 10 near Salome Highway.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the 2-vehicle collision happened at milepost 88, west of the Valley.

Reports say that a driver believed to be impaired collided with a construction work truck at high speed.

Authorities say that occupants of the work truck suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital, while the at-fault driver sustained critical injuries.

DPS is investigating the 2-vehicle collision and has not released further information at this time.
