CHP Officer Hurt in 2-Vehicle Crash on 1st Street
Los Angeles, CA (March 10, 2023) On Thursday midnight, a possible DUI accident on Eastern Avenue sent a CHP officer to the hospital.
LACoFD responded to the scene, after the officer radioed that he was trapped in a collision he was involved in, at the intersection of 1st Street & Eastern Avenue.
First responders assisted the trapped CHP officer, paramedics transported him to a hospital.
Officials did not clarify if the other driver suffered injuries due to the crash. However, authorities say that several cans of alcoholic beverages were found on the civilian vehicle.
Authorities are investigating the 2-vehicle crash and have not released additional information at this time.
