Duglus Rodas-Reyes Arrested in Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash near Giant Road [San Pablo, CA]

SAN PABLO, CA (January 9, 2022) – Friday night, authorities arrested Duglus Rodas-Reyes after a deadly hit-and-run crash near Giant Road.
 
According to the San Pablo Police Department, the incident happened at around 10:12 p.m. Moreover, it occurred near Giant Road and John Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a 2005 Dodge Magnum vehicle struck a 21-year-old male pedestrian. After the crash, the Dodge driver fled the scene.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the hit-and-run driver on Enterprise Avenue in Richmond. The suspect, 30-year-old Duglus Rodas-Reyes, admitted to being the driver involved in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, officials booked Rodas-Reyes booked into Contra Costa County Jail. He’s facing charges of felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter.
