74-Year-Old Man Identified from Deadly Crash on Interstate 10 near Riverside Avenue
RIALTO, CA (February 16, 2018) – At least five people were killed in a fiery truck crash that took place on Friday around 1 PM, on the 10 Freeway near Riverside Avenue.
74-year-old Duddley White was identified as one of the five deceased victims in the accident. According to the California Highway Patrol, a concrete pumping truck was headed westbound on the 10 Freeway, when it crashed through the center divide.
The truck then collided with four other cars and a motorcycle. Reports state that the crash involved the concrete truck, a smaller truck, at least three other cars, and a motorcycle. The truck driver sustained minor injuries, while another driver was not injured.
The 10 Freeway was closed in both directions for over 16 hours, while victims were extricated from the fiery scene, and authorities began cleanup and investigation. Holiday travelers were informed to use the 215 and 15 freeways to avoid the traffic.
Officials continue investigation to find out the cause of the fatal accident. No other information on the identities
