Rollover Semi-Truck Crash on Interstate 5 Injures Dodge Pickup Truck Driver
Bakersfield, CA (May 06, 2021) – On Thursday, two drivers were injured in a big-rig crash on Interstate 5.
Rescuers responded at the scene at around 3:44 a.m. at the Lebec curve.
Officers said a semi-truck driver hauling milk fell asleep behind the wheel.
He drove into the center divider and overcorrected, which made the big rig overturn.
A Dodge pickup truck driver got caught underneath the big rig. As a result, he sustained major injuries, while the big rig driver incurred moderate injuries.
This serves as a reminder to not operate a vehicle unless you are alert and sober.
