Highway 99 Big Rig Crash Injures Tractor-Trailer Driver
Chico, CA (April 07, 2021) – On Tuesday, two drivers were hospitalized in a tractor-trailer versus big rig crash on Highway 99.
The road incident took place at about 3:00 a.m. wherein the crash involved hazardous materials.
Apparently, the tractor was northbound on Highway 99, followed by the big rig. Officers said the semi-truck driver may not have seen the tractor, pushing it off the road and forced the big rig on its side.
Right away, rescuers rushed both of the drivers to a hospital.
Meanwhile, officers closed Highway 99 in both directions after the incident.
