Traffic Accident on Joshua Street Sends Two to Hospitals

Adelanto, CA (March 3, 2023) – On February 28, two drivers sustained injuries following an Aster Road off-road vehicle collision.

The traffic accident unfolded at about 12:58 p.m., in the area of Joshua Street near Adelanto High School.

The authorities said a 15-year-old male was riding a quad westbound on Joshua Street. At the same time, an adult male driver of a white Toyota Camry was northbound at approximately 30 mph on Aster Road.

“The juvenile ran the stop sign and his quad collided with the Camry. The juvenile was ejected from the Quad and landed on the dirt shoulder of the roadway,” says the sheriff’s officials.

Officers also the juvenile was wearing a helmet when the crash happened.

Immediately, the paramedics rushed the Camry driver to a local hospital by ambulance. Then, the rescuers airlifted the juvenile to a trauma center with major injuries.
