Bakersfield, CA (April 17, 2023) – On Sunday morning, drivers were injured in a 2-vehicle collision on Truxtun Avenue.

The Bakersfield Police Department said they stopped the female driver for a code violation. However, the driver drove off and the officers started a chase.

The driver being chased crashed into another vehicle, injuring both of the drivers. The two drivers were transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
