Drivers Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision on Highway 41 [Fresno County, CA]

Fresno County, CA (July 29, 2023) – On Friday morning, two drivers sustained injuries in a 2-vehicle collision on Highway 41.

The traffic accident took place at about 6:30 a.m. in the area of Adams Avenue near Easton.

CHP officers stated that a big rig driver was southbound on the freeway when a pickup truck driver traveling west ran the stoplight and was struck by the big rig.

The accident report noted that the pickup truck driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to the hospital with major injuries.

The big rig driver, on the other hand, was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Traffic crews closed both directions of the highway and traffic was diverted around on the shoulder.
