Wrong-Way Crash on I-8 Results in Injuries
Alpine, CA (February 24, 2022) – On Thursday, two drivers sustained injuries in an Interstate 8 fiery collision.
It was minutes after 2 a.m. when the incident took place near East Victoria Drive.
Investigators say an eastbound gold Nissan Altima was traveling on the westbound lanes and crashed head-on with a blue compact car.
As a result, both vehicles caught fire.
Luckily, the responding firefighters were able to free both drivers from their vehicles before anyone was burned.
The paramedics rushed the two drivers to the hospital with unknown injuries.
