Drivers Die in Whipple Road Head-On Crash [Union City, CA]

Union City, CA (November 08, 2021) – On Sunday, two drivers suffered fatal injuries in a Whipple Road head-on crash.

Responding officers arrived at the crash scene before 5:45 p.m. west of Central Avenue, wherein they found a dark-colored Honda Pilot and a red Acura TL with significant damage.

Investigating officers said the Acura was eastbound on Whipple Road when it struck the westbound Honda head-on.

Unfortunately, the Acura’s driver died at the scene. 

Meanwhile, the rescuers rushed the Honda’s driver to a hospital, where they were later died.

The authorities confirmed that both drivers were adults. However, they withheld their identities pending next-of-kin notification.
