Driver Transported in Fatal Collision on Maple Avenue [Dallas, TX]

Dallas, TX (March 12, 2024) – A man was killed, and a car driver was injured following a collision on Maple Avenue late Monday night.

Troopers said an SUV speeding near Dallas Love Field collided with a car underneath the Dallas North Tollway.

Afterward, the SUV rolled multiple times.

Immediately, the fire crew pulled a man out of the vehicle and transported him to a hospital, where he died.

The rescuers also took the other driver to a hospital; he is expected to survive.

In the meantime, troopers are investigating who was at fault and if either driver was impaired at the time of the collision.
