SAN JOAQUIN, CA (February 1, 2019) – A driver sustained serious injuries after a head-on car collision on January 31 in San Joaquin County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Toyota Tacoma driver heading north on Thornton Road drove across the opposite lane and collided with a Ford box truck.

The Toyota driver was transported to the hospital, the CHP Stockton stated. Reports also revealed that during the incident, heavy patches of fog were present.
