29-Year-Old Woman Arrested after Three-Car Crash near Miramar Village Shopping Center
MIRAMAR, CA (April 12, 2019) – Authorities arrested a 29-year-old woman following a DUI crash on Miramar Road.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened near Miramar Village Shopping Center, at about 12:30 PM. A westbound Nissan Sentra veered to the right and collided with a Nissan Maxima. The impact of the collision pushed the Maxima backward into a Honda Civic.
Emergency responders transported the 35-year-old Maxima driver to a hospital with an open-wound ankle fracture. Further updates on her current condition were not provided. Meanwhile, the Sentra driver, the 22-year-old Honda driver, and an unidentified passenger did not sustain injuries in the crash.
Investigators arrested the Sentra driver on suspicion of driving under the influence and booked her into jail. Additional information will be released following the conclusion of the investigation.
