Driver Suffers Injuries in Auto Crash on Wible Road

 
Bakersfield, CA (May 6, 2020)– On Wednesday evening, one unidentified driver sustained severe injuries in a single auto crash along SR-223 and Wible Road.
 
The CHP responded after receiving crash reports at around 9:30 p.m. on May 6. Dispatched officers arrived and located the injured driver and his vehicle into nearby orchards along State Route 223.
 
Reportedly, the driver was heading eastbound on SR-223 when he swerved to the left, overcorrected to the right, and lost control sending the vehicle over a ditch and into the orchards.
 
However, it is still unclear what leads to this accident. CHP confirmed drugs or alcohol do not appear as a factor in the crash.
 
Furthermore, CHP continues the investigation and will release more information to the public once available.
