1 Injured in Brinnon Single-Vehicle Accident on Highway 101
BRINNON, WA (July 23, 2019) – A semi-truck driver suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 101 that spilled garbage across the road.
The incident involved the semi and its 50-foot trailer full of trash. The accident happened on July 21 just before 5:45 a.m. on Highway near Canal View Street, Trooper Chelsea Hodgson with the WSP revealed.
Hodgson added that due to the driver’s serious injuries, responders airlifted him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Due to the collision, authorities shut down all the southbound lanes of Highway 101 while crews clean up the area. Police did not release any other information regarding the accident on Highway 101 at this time.
