Driver and Passenger Killed in College Boulevard Solo Vehicle Crash [Oceanside, CA]

Oceanside, CA (February 19, 2022) – On Friday, a driver and their passenger both died in a College Boulevard solo vehicle crash.

The fatal collision happened shortly after 5 p.m. Avenida Empresa.

Investigators said a northbound 2008 Toyota Scion XB drifted from the lane. The vehicle hit a retaining wall and fire hydrant before it rolled over.

The driver was thrown from the vehicle. 

Responding officers declared the driver and passenger dead at the scene.

Moreover, officers withheld the identities of the two deceased pending notification of family. They also said that it is still unclear if alcohol and drugs were a factor in this incident.
