2 Hurt in Mission Bay Auto Accident on Sea World Drive
MISSION BAY, CA (February 23, 2022) – Monday night, a driver and passenger suffered injuries in a DUI crash on Sea World Drive.
The incident happened just before 5:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Sea World Drive. According to reports, as a 2004 Mercedes-Benz traveled east, the driver “failed to negotiate the right curve.” Then, it went off the road and struck a tree, San Diego Police Officer John Buttle revealed.
As a result, the 28-year-old passenger lost consciousness and suffered a broken leg. Meanwhile, the driver suffered a broken foot. Then, responders took both of them to a hospital.
