Multi-Vehicle Crash Near South Chester Avenue Results in Injuries
Bakersfield, CA (March 3, 2023) – On Thursday afternoon, a 55-year-old male truck driver died in a Highway 58 deadly collision.
The fatal collision happened before 4 p.m. near South Chester Avenue.
CHP said a tractor-trailer driver did not stop and struck the cars in front of him which resulted in a chain reaction.
The paramedics rushed the tractor-trailer driver and a GMC truck driver to the hospital where the truck later died.
In the meantime, officers are investigating the multi-vehicle crash near South Chester Avenue. They said alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the Highway 58 deadly collision.
