Man Fatally Injured in Traffic Accident near East Taylor Street
SAN JOSE, CA (July 31, 2018) – A man was killed late Tuesday evening following a two-vehicle collision on North 19th Street near East Taylor Street.
According to San Jose police, the incident happened at about 11:20 PM. They arrived at the scene and found a silver 2015 Toyota Corolla and a white 1998 Ford van significantly damaged after a major traffic crash.
Witnesses claimed that the driver of the Corolla was heading south on North 19th when it drove through a stop sign and slammed into the Ford van.
The Corolla driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by medical staff. His identity and city of residence were not immediately available. Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford did not sustain injuries and cooperated with investigators.
