1 Dead in Tacoma Auto Accident on State Route 7 and 143rd Street South
TACOMA, WA (September 18, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, a driver died in a two-car crash on State Route 7 and 143rd Street in Tacoma.
The incident happened at about 3:00 p.m. on State Route 7 and 143rd Street South.
According to reports, two cars crashed. Then, responders took one driver to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. However, the driver eventually succumbed to his injuries.
Moreover, the crash led to the closure of State Route 7 in both directions.
Meanwhile, troopers, WSDOT, deputies with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, and Central Pierce Fire and Rescue handle the investigation.
