RIVERSIDE, CA (March 9, 2022) – Tuesday night, a 28-year-old driver died in a three-vehicle crash on Jurupa Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard.
 
The crash occurred at around 12:30 p.m. on Jurupa Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard.
 
According to reports, a 36-year-old Banning man headed west on Jurupa Avenue in his Dodge Durango SUV. He entered the intersection at the same time as a Honda Accord and a Scion crossed in the southbound lanes of Van Buren Boulevard.
 
Then, the Dodge crashed into the Honda and the Scion. At this time, the authorities haven’t clarified whether the SUV failed to yield at a red light.
 
When the Riverside Fire Department paramedics arrived, they found the 28-year-old Honda driver in grave condition.
 
Thus, they immediately transported that victim to Riverside Community Hospital. However, he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identities of the parties involved.
 
Due to the limited information available, the crash remains under active investigation.
