1 Dead and 1 Injured in Santa Rosa Accident on Highway 101 near Yolanda Avenue
SANTA ROSA, CA (April 5, 2022) – Early Sunday, a driver died in a wrong-way crash on Highway 101 near Yolanda Avenue.
The incident happened just before 2:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of US Highway 101 near Yolanda Avenue.
When the authorities arrived, they determined that a Toyota Tacoma headed south in the northbound lanes of US Highway 101. Then, the driver collided with a Ford Explorer.
After the crash, authorities declared the male driver of the Tacoma dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the Explorer’s female driver suffered major injuries and responders took her to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
At this time, the authorities believed that her injuries were non-life-threatening. Moreover, the identity of the deceased remains undisclosed due to pending family notification.
