FRESNO, CA (December 19, 2021) – Saturday night, a driver died in a two-vehicle crash on Chateau Fresno Avenue and Shields Avenue.
 
The crash involving a yellow van and a red pick-up truck occurred on N Chateau Fresno Avenue and W Shields Avenue.
 
As a result, the pickup truck driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, responders took the van driver to Community Regional Medical Center.
 
CHP officers revealed that they’re investigating whether alcohol played a role.
