Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Southbound I-5 in Sacramento

 
Sacramento, CA (September 9, 2020) – Tuesday evening, a driver died, and three others sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Southbound I-5 near Florin Road.
 
The incident happened before 6 p.m. on September 8.
 
A video shared by a driver Ryan Seo shows a semi-truck slamming into another car, pushing it into several other vehicles. A total of nine vehicles involved.
 
As a result, one driver died at the scene, and three were transported to the hospital.
 
The California Highway Patrol investigated the crash for several hours using all the gathered evidences and the video shared. The road was reopened before 10 p.m.
