Driver Hospitalized after Two-vehicle Crash on Norris Road in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, CA (August 27, 2020) – Wednesday afternoon, a driver sustained injuries after a two-vehicle crash on Norris Road and California Street.
The incident happened at around 2:40 p.m. on August 26. Dispatched officers located a Mini Cooper and a Nissan pickup truck.
CHP says a Mini Cooper was driving westbound on Norris Road, tried to make a left turn onto California Street, cutting off a Nissan pickup truck. Thus, the two vehicles collided.
The Mini Cooper driver suffered a possible broken arm as a result of the collision. At the same time, the Nissan driver was also taken to a hospital for a complaint of pain.
Moreover, the eastbound lanes of Norris Road were closed during the investigation. However, all streets are now open to traffic.
