1 Hospitalized in Los Alamos Auto Accident on Highway 101 near Palmer Road
LOS ALAMOS, CA (September 5, 2021) – Saturday morning, a driver sustained injuries in a truck crash on Highway 101 near Palmer Road.
According to County fire Capt. Daniel Bertucelli, the incident happened at around 6:20 a.m. Moreover, the incident happened on Highway 101, a mile north of Palmer Road.
Reports revealed that a Cal Portland utility truck rear-ended a box truck hauling the mail.
Furthermore, officials said that during the crash, there was fog in the area.
Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene to extricate one patient from a vehicle. Then, paramedics transported the patient to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Marian for treatment.
The events leading to the crash remain under investigation.
