Driver Hospitalized after Suspected DUI Crash on Vineland Road
Bakersfield, CA (July 10, 2020) – On early Friday morning, one individual sustained injuries in a suspected DUI crash on Vineland Road.
The crash happened at around 3:05 a.m on July 10. According to CHP reports, a vehicle was travelling southbound on Vineland Road, approaching Panama Lane at a fast rate. The driver failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and struck a vehicle heading eastbound on Panama Lane.
Moreover, the intoxicated driver broadsided the other vehicle, causing it to roll on its side and block lanes. The intoxicated driver then transported to Kern Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Meanwhile, the other driver did not require medical attention. Further investigation is ongoing.
