Female Driver Sustains Injuries in State Route 410 Hit-and-Run Crash [Sumner, WA]

Sumner, Wa (May 26, 2023) – On Tuesday morning, a female driver sustained injuries following a State Route 410 hit-and-run crash.

WSP said the traffic incident took place at about 6:30 a.m. on the westbound freeway approaching the interchange ramp to SR-167.

Reports said the victim was driving her white Honda Accord when a vehicle entered westbound SR-410 and crashed into the victim’s vehicle as they were merging from the right lane to the center lane.

The impact of the collision forced the victim’s vehicle into the far left lane and smashed into a cement mixer truck in the process.

Afterward, the victim’s car spun around in front of the cement mixer truck before it finally crashed into the concrete barrier dividing eastbound from westbound traffic. 

The suspect driver did not stop and continued on westbound SR-410.

Authorities said the suspect vehicle’s description is limited. They said it was a dark-colored passenger car.
