Traffic Backed Up after Semi Truck Crashes near Snoqualmie Pass Summit
SNOQUALMIE PASS, WA (October 26, 2018) – Friday morning, a driver was injured in a semi truck crash on 90 Freeway.
After being alerted about a serious crash, state troopers and state Department of Transportation crews arrived at the eastbound lanes of I-90 near Snoqualmie Pass Summit where the collision occurred at approximately 10:15 AM. Due to impact of the incident, the semi-truck driver sustained injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Following the accident, traffic quickly began backing up in the eastbound lanes during the cleanup and investigation. Three lanes of the freeway were closed for about two hours at Snoqualmie Pass but have since reopened. rainy weather is considered to be a contributing factor in the collision.
