Driver Hospitalized after Sedan VS Semi Crash on Highway 111 in Imperial County

Imperial County, CA (August 12, 2022) – Friday morning, one person sustained injuries in a crash between a sedan and a semi on Highway 111.

The crash on Highway 111 happened at around 5:30 a.m. on August 12.

CHP responded and located the sedan blocking the slow lane on the Highway. 

Reportedly, the sedan appeared to have rolled following impact with the semi. EMS airlifted the sedan driver to a hospital with unknown injuries.

No other information is immediately available.

Further investigation to determine the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
