PHOENIX, AZ (January 21, 2021) – Early Tuesday, a driver suffered injuries in a rollover crash on Interstate 17 and Bell Road.
 
According to reports, the vehicle exited the northbound Interstate 17 at around 12:25 a.m. Then, it went off the road and overturned on the Interstate 17 off-ramp at Bell Road.
 
When the authorities arrived, they located the unidentified driver with severe injuries. Thus, responders transported the driver to the hospital in critical condition. Moreover, the authorities suspect that impairment played a role in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, a second vehicle hit some of the debris. Then, it spun off the road and fled.
 
The authorities cleared Interstate 17 after a brief shutdown of the northbound exit ramp.
