Chain-Reaction Crash on Miramar Road Injures Truck Driver
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 03, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash on Miramar Road Friday morning left a truck driver with serious injuries.
According to the San Diego police, the crash occurred in the 7100 block of Miramar Road at around 9 a.m. The 50-year-old box truck driver was westbound when he ran a traffic light. The truck then plowed into the vehicle stopped ahead of him, resulting in a chain-reaction crash.
Involved in the incident were four vehicles in total. The box driver suffered a fractured thigh bone. No other injuries were reported.
The officers said drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the incident.
