Reports from the California Highway Patrol stated that the collision happened at approximately 7:11 AM in the 1300 block of El Camino Real, near the Station 1300 construction site. The site is a 220,000-square foot, four-story apartment project on 6.4 acres, that is expected to have 183 units.
According to Menlo Park Fire Protection District firefighters, the victim’s truck loaded with lumber overturned right at the residential construction site. Events leading up to the vehicle turning over are unclear at this time.
