Ferndale Vehicle Crash Results in Injuries
Ferndale, WA (March 21, 2024) – Two people sustained injuries following an Interstate 5 collision Tuesday afternoon.
The rescuers received the collision report around 2:55 p.m. on March 19 at the Portal Way southbound on-ramp to Interstate 5.
The accident report noted that a vehicle hauler and two other vehicles were involved in the crash.
WSP officers determined that the vehicle hauler was traveling too fast while attempting to enter the southbound freeway. As a result, the hauler tipped over and slid across the main line lanes.
Afterward, a southbound van struck the hauler.
The van driver incurred non-life-threatening injuries while the vehicle hauler’s driver was not hurt.
