Phoenix, AZ (November 3, 2023) – On Friday morning, one person sustained injuries in a crash on Interstate 10.

The collision occurred in the westbound lanes near Buckeye Road, near the I-17 split, just before 6 a.m.

According to the DPS, the accident occurred when the driver of the truck braked abruptly to avoid hitting a slower vehicle. The truck then crashed into the crash barrier, lost its load, and overturned.

The driver sustained minor injuries.
