Driver Injured in Highway 90 Deadly Crash [San Antonio, TX]

1 Killed in San Antonio Big Rig Crash

San Antonio, TX (May 8, 2024) – An 18-wheeler truck driver was injured in a Highway 90 deadly crash Monday afternoon.

It was about 3:30 p.m. when the fatal collision happened at the intersection with Highway 211.

Investigators said a small box truck that was westbound on Highway 90 access road didn’t stop at the intersection and drove through the path of an 18-wheeler truck.

As a result, the vehicles collided ejecting the box truck driver. Sadly, the male driver was declared deceased at the scene.

On the other hand, the driver of the 18-wheeler truck incurred minor injuries and was released.

Troopers said no charges are pending and that they are still investigating this traffic accident.
