Driver Injured after Crashing into House on Sagunto Street [Santa Ynez, CA]

SANTA YNEZ, CA (September 24, 2019) – A driver sustained injuries after crashing into a house on Sagunto Street on September 22.
 
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, a house has been deemed uninhabitable after a vehicle flew more than 100 feet into the air before crashing into the house.
 
The incident occurred at around 12:40 a.m. at a home in the 3300 block of Sagunto Street. A vehicle flew 150 feet into the air and rammed into the house.
 
The authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash. However, responders transported the driver with moderate injuries to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria.
 
The Fire Department added that the house will stay red-tagged until it’s repaired.
