NORWALK, CA (August 10, 2022) – On Monday, a driver sustained injuries after a police chase crash on Hoxie Avenue and Imperial Highway.
 
According to the Cypress Police, the incident happened on Hoxie Avenue and Imperial Highway.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle fled from officers, sparking a police pursuit. Then, the suspect vehicle ran a red light and collided with another vehicle. The force of the crash pushed the second vehicle into a pole, trapping the driver inside.
 
Then, five occupants of the suspect vehicle jumped out after it started catching fire after the collision.
 
Moreover, firefighters extricated and transported the driver of the second vehicle to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Also, officers arrested the five occupants of the suspect vehicle.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
