BONNEY LAKE, WA (August 7, 2019) – A car driver sustained injuries after a crash with a Pierce County Fire Truck on Angeline Road on Wednesday.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near Veterans Memorial Drive. Based on a report, the fire truck responded to a medical emergency with its lights and siren activated. After that, it collided head on into a car that passed a stopped vehicle and went straight into its path.
The car’s driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No firefighters were injured.
