According to the Elk Grove Police Department, the vehicle crash happened at about 9:18 p.m. on Laguna Boulevard near Franklin Boulevard.

Reports say that police were chasing a 13-year-old who was driving a stolen car westbound on Laguna Boulevard when it collided with another vehicle.

Medics say that the driver of the car that was hit suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
