Driver Hospitalized after Semi-Truck Accident on 15 Freeway [Baker, CA]

Semi-Truck Overturns in Collision near Rasor Road

 
BAKER, CA (March 30, 2019) – A driver was hospitalized after a semi-truck crash on southbound 15 Freeway, Saturday afternoon.
 
According to CHP, the accident took place at approximately 2:28 PM near Rasor Road. Based on an initial report, the victim’s truck was carrying an unknown load with at least 70,000 lbs. In addition, he was trapped inside the cab while the trailer landed on its side in the lanes.
 
The paramedics were requested for medical attention. They sent the victim to St Mary’s Hospital for treatment of injuries. The victim’s condition was not yet known.
 
Clearing and cleaning operations took place in the area. An investigation was ongoing. No other details were released.
