Suspected DUI Driver Arrested after Traffic Collision near Genesee Avenue

 
LA JOLLA, CA (October 8, 2018) – A person was hospitalized Monday morning following a DUI Crash on Interstate 5. The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed to the public.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Hyundai sedan collided with a Honda minivan at about 6:15 AM, near the Genesee Avenue off-ramp. Events leading up to the two-vehicle crash were not available.
 
The Honda driver was transported to the Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla with unspecified injuries. Further details on their current medical condition were not provided. Meanwhile, the unidentified driver of the Hyundai was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
