Unidentified Suspect Flees after Two-Vehicle Crash near Mockingbird Canyon Road in Riverside
RIVERSIDE, CA (April 22, 2020) – Friday evening, a driver flee following a hit-and-run collision on Van Buren Boulevard.
California Highway Patrol officers revealed that a white Dodge Challenger and red Ford Mustang collided near Mockingbird Canyon Road around 8:15 p.m.
The impact consequently sent both vehicles down a roadside embankment. However, the events leading up to the accident remain unclear.
According to reports, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene and has not been located.
At this time, it has not yet been clarified whether they escaped on foot or not.
In addition, California Highway Patrol later also confirmed that no one was injured in the accident. The surrounding area on Van Buren Boulevard was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
