Police Search the Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on Seaport Village off Harbor Drive in San Diego

San Diego, CA (December 30, 2021) – On Thursday, a female passenger sustained injuries while the driver fled after a crash on Seaport Village off Harbor Drive.

The hit-and-run crash in San Diego happened at around 12:45 a.m. on December 30.

San Diego Police said a car crashed into a Seaport Village sign and then fled from the popular downtown San Diego destination on foot.

Meanwhile, officers found a female passenger inside the vehicle. She was taken to the hospital with injuries of unknown severity.

Moreover, responders said the shopping/dining complex’s large welcome sign was knocked down, several smashed plants and rocks, and damage to exit gates.

The white car responsible for the destruction sustained damage to its front and a part of the bumper was found several feet away.

A description of the driver was not immediately released.
