78-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Crash on Lexington Avenue, Suspect at Large

 
East Hollywood, CA (May 1, 2021) – Police are looking for a suspect in the hit-and-run crash on Lexington Avenue that left one man injured.
 
The incident happened on April 30 on Lexington Avenue at Vermont Avenue at about 7:35 a.m.
 
Police reported that the vehicle struck the 78-year-old man crossing Lexington Avenue at Vermont Avenue. The driver of the possible 2010-2015 dark-colored Mazda CX-7 reportedly ran a red light.
 
The impact of the collision left the man hospitalized. He suffered severe injuries from the incident; however, he is now in stable condition.
