Driver Dies in Vehicle Crash on 27th Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (May 02, 2022) – On Saturday, a sedan driver sustained injuries in a vehicle crash on 27th Avenue.

At about 10:30 a.m., the officers responded to the crash scene at the intersection with Deer Valley Road.

The investigators say the sedan driver was traveling at a high rate of speed. As a result, it collided with a man in a pickup truck. 

Immediately, the paramedics rushed both drivers to local hospitals in critical condition.

The sedan driver later died.

No arrests were made and the authorities are investigating this fatal incident.
