Injury in Graham DUI Collision
Graham, WA (February 06, 2022) – On Friday, a 1996 Honda Accord driver dies in a two-car crash on State Route 161.
The collision occurred at about 7:30 p.m. near 280th Street East.
Investigators said a 51-year-old man was southbound in a silver Nissan pickup truck with a trailer attached when a 1996 Honda Accord turned left onto the road from a driveway.
The two vehicles crashed killing the unknown Honda driver at the scene. Reports said he was not wearing a seat belt.
Meanwhile, the paramedics rushed the pickup truck driver to Tacoma General Hospital with injuries.
Officers are still investigating the incident but they consider drugs or alcohol as factors in the crash.
Moreover, the two vehicles rested on opposite shoulders of Meridian Avenue East. The pickup truck’s trailer detached during the accident and stopped on the shoulder.
