Driver Dies in Race Track Road Collision [Sacramento, CA]

Sacramento, CA (September 6, 2024) – A driver was killed and a passenger was injured in a Race Track Road collision Wednesday night.

CHP officers responded at around 9 p.m. to the solo-vehicle collision at the intersection with Tyler Island Road in Walnut Grove.

Troopers said the vehicle rolled-over and the driver died at the scene.

A woman who was a passenger in the vehicle was transported with major injuries.

CHP authorities are investigating the cause of the Race Track Road collision.
